Individual Therapy

Here at me-studio we offer a safe and confidential space to explore your experiences through individual therapy for children, adolescents and adults tailored to meet each person’s unique needs, goals and circumstances.

Individual Assessment

At me-studio, we offer comprehensive individual assessments to support diagnostic clarity, guide intervention planning, and inform access to supports and services. 


Assessments focus on:


  • Intellectual abilities (e.g WISC, WAIS, WNV)
  • Learning and executive functioning (e.g WIAT, WRAT, CEFI)
  • Adaptive behavioural functioning (e.g ABAS, CANS)
  • Mental health and disorder (e.g DSM5 screening, C/APP, BDI, BAI, CBRS, Conners 4, MOXO)
  • Social-emotional and behavioural functioning (e.g SRS, CARS)


Private

Me-studio offers private billing for clients who choose to self-fund their sessions. 


No referral is required and appointments can be booked directly with me-studio via phone. This option provides flexibility and confidentiality, with no limits on the number of sessions. 


Fees vary depending on the practitioner and the type of session, please contact us for current rates and availability.

Private

(Medicare Rebates Available)

You can access psychology services through the Better Access Initiative via Medicare. To be eligible for these Medicare rebates, you’ll need one of the following:



  • referral from your GP and a Mental Health Treatment Plan
  • an Assessment and Management Plan from a psychiatrist 
  • a direct referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist


Medicare rebates cover up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. You’re welcome to access more than this if needed; however, Medicare will not provide a rebate for additional sessions.

NDIS

You can access services through me-studio if your NDIS plan is either self-managed or plan-managed.


To get started, participants will need to provide:


  • Participant details
  • NDIS participant number
  • A current NDIS plan with start and end date
  • NDIS plan goals
  • Evidence of funding under a relevant support category, e.g. Improved Daily Living (Capacity Building)


This will allow a service agreement to be completed and signed during the initial consultation, which will outline the services to be provided, associated costs and terms of engagement. 


me-studio is happy to work collaboratively with participants, their support coordinators and plan managers to ensure services are tailored to meet their individual goals.

Workcover

You can access services at me-studio through WorkCover with a valid referral from your GP and approval from your WorkCover insurer. 


Before commencing services we require the following:

 

  • A copy of the WorkCover medical certificate
  • Claim number
  • Case manager and/or insurer contact details


All sessions must be pre-approved, and me-studio will liaise directly with your insurer for billing.

DVA

You can access services through me-studio if you are an eligible veteran or family member, through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA). 


To get started, you will need:



  • DVA referral from your GP
  • Valid Gold or White card


We accept DVA-funded sessions with no out-of-pocket cost to you.

Other

me-studio receives limited funding through external programs, which may help cover the cost of psychological services for eligible clients. 


You may be eligible for support through Primary Health Network (PHN) funding. Eligibility criteria and referral pathways vary depending on the program and individual circumstances. 


If you are unsure whether you qualify, the me-studio team can assist you in exploring available options and guiding you through the referral process.

Emergency Services

With over 12 years of frontline experience as a Paramedic and Peer Support Officer with the Queensland Ambulance Service in rural and remote settings, Jed brings a unique and deeply informed perspective to his work with emergency services personnel. 


His lived experience allows him to genuinely understand the pressures, culture and challenges faced by first responders. Jed is passionate about supporting the mental health and wellbeing of those who serve our communities, offering a safe, practical, and evidence-based approach tailored to the needs of emergency services workers.
